New Year's Update 2022

Hello and Happy New Year!

Hoping this message finds all of you well and finding time to work on those special projects (maybe one for yourself now that the holidays are over!). I for one am thinking spring already days are getting longer right!!! It’s kind of fun to work with spring colors when looking out the window during winter and hoping for those spring flowers to appear and what I’m going to plant this year. Sure hope all of you find a happy place to relax and enjoy the creative process!

Speaking of happy places I am happy to report Camp Wool is still open for regular hours during the month of January (ok caveat – unless weather isn’t safe to travel). If you need something mailed, or if we get a good weather day and you just need to get out, we are here for you. Thankfully the store is large and social distancing is easily met so you can shop safely. Even though fully vaccinated myself, I will be wearing a mask when the rates of transmissions are high in Maine. Enough said on Covid just be safe!!!

Store Hours During February and March

With the store move happening so quickly I left a few things unfinished back in Kennebunk and some appointments that need to be kept. That means I will have very limited hours during the months of February and March. The dates that follow are given open dates (barring any major weather event in which case I will chose alternatives) so that if you need something or simply want to get out you will have a chance to come visit us. It is possible I will add to these dates so just keep checking the website and Facebook or call the store to get the latest on available open dates!! I have never closed before or for that matter not worked since being a teenager so this is different for me. As we get older though we have to listen to our bodies and recognize when pauses are a good thing. I will be catching voice mail often so if you need anything do not hesitate to leave a voice mail and I will get back to you.

Open Dates for January, 2022

Open all Wednesdays, Thursday, Fridays & Saturdays 10:00 to 4:00

Thimble Pleasures Quilt Show – March 12 & 13 Upton, MA

I have met many of you at this show in the past as it’s my favorite Quilt Show to attend. I can’t say enough about how well run and dynamic this show is with the caliber of quilts being just outstanding!! If you are looking for something to do that weekend, I would highly recommend and for those of you that live south of Maine and can’t get to my new location this is a great way to see some wool and some fun new projects for spring. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. For more information about the show click this link. As it gets closer I will post more updates and/or confirm that all things are still a green light!!! Hope to see you there!

Regular hours will resume in April but I have not chosen the exact date yet. Keep checking back for more updates. Air hugs to all of you!!! I can’t thank you enough for your support through such crazy times. I sure hope 2022 calms down a bit and we can manage our new reality with better knowledge and can once again create a safer environment for us all. To all of you in the health care industry I can’t say enough how appreciative I am of your service to all of us…. You are our heroes! Take care and Happy New Year!! LeAnn and Mark
