Please consider spending a lively day at a quaint local show on Saturday, August 1 at the Bar Mills Community Church in Buxton, Maine! There are great shopping opportunities, gifts and bargains as well as a lovely outdoor luncheon put on by the lovely church members!  Also we would love to see your quilts for the day so please consider bringing us a quilt to show off. There will be a fabulous collection of wool quilts made by a local artisan as well! I plan on bringing loads of sale cottons and the church has a great sale room as well!!! I am pleased to announce that I will be vending at the Thimble Pleasures Quilt Show in March! One of the best show around and a perfect time to get out and think about Spring! The Thimble Pleasures quilt Guild is pleased to announced that it's biennial quilt show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 14th and 15th, 2026 at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical School in Upton, Massachusetts. The Guild has selected "Creating Comfort" as their show theme. This theme reflects not only the members' love of quilting but also reflects the guild's mission and fundraising efforts. Over 200 member quilts as well as guilde challenges and round robins will be on display. Also included at the show will be a special raffle quilt, the Quilters' Boutique, raffle baskets, and local area vendors.


The guild has chosen Home Base as the show's special fundraiser. All funds raised through the sale of items at the special fundraiser table will be donated directly to Home Base.t Home Base is a Red Sox Foundation dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of veterans, service members, and their families through clinical care, wellness, education and research.

Hello from Camp Wool! This year I am going to be teaching (and a little vending!) at a special event in Downeast Maine. This will mean that my retail store in Hollis Center WILL BE CLOSED from Wednesday, September 17 through Saturday, September 20. While the event is sold out, I will have a vending booth open to the public during special hours. I will be bringing wools, cottons and many fun kits and patterns for applique, cross stitch, punchneedle and rug hooking for the fall and winter seasons! So, if you are in the area (Winter Harbor, Maine) please consider stopping by to say Hi and see us! Please read on for more details!


Booth Hours: Friday, Sept. 19; Saturday, Sept. 20. & Sunday, Sept. 21 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM each day!

Important Notice about Entering the Park: If you plan to come straight to the auditorium, you do not need a park pass to park and visit us. However, if you would like to take advantage of all there is to see and do at the park, you will need a National Park pass. When you enter the park, you will see a small building with restrooms and a kiosk where you can electronically purchase a pass OR signs for the park visitors center found deeper into the park, where you may purchase a day pass or other type of National Park Pass!
